Medical Research: Bench to Bedside Honours Program (RMH/WH)

Apply your Science Foundations to High Impact Medical Research by joining the RMH/WH Honours Program

The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Hospital Honours programs combine projects from the University of Melbourne's departments of Medicine, Radiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Psychiatry and Surgery along with the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. There are also projects listed here with the CSIRO and NARI (National Ageing Research Unit).

Researchers have expertise in a very wide range of basic, applied and clinical methodologies and offer a unique experience to Honours students. Not only do students gain skills in the research field of their project, but they also have the opportunity to learn about the bigger picture, particularly with regard to leadership and responsibility, and the importance of the interface between research and clinical medicine.
